Charissa Thompson
Thompson was fired from FOX Sports in 2010 and was able to double as a host for both Versus and Yahoo Sports. She was in charge of Versus' NHL studio coverage, and recorded web video for the wildly well-known Yahoo platform. This included leading Yahoo's coverage of major events including those of the 2010 Winter Olympics. FIFA World Cup. Super Bowl XLV. and BCS National Championship. Her success in these two arenas led her to get a job with ESPN to be one of the hosts in the new afternoon program called "Numbers Never Lie" which premiered in August. The show was a part of the "SportsNation" network in July 2012. The show was an enormous success and she stayed with the network until the end of May 2013 when she returned to Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson is a passionate sports enthusiast, however she has shown the flexibility needed to make the transition from sports into entertainment. In June of 2014, following a number of part-time positions, Thompson was appointed as a permanent co-host for the Hollywood evening news magazine "Extra". Her filming took place in Universal Studios and also worked on award shows, celeb occasions, and other events.
