Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer and vocalist. She is a beautiful and knowledgeable actress she serves as an inspiration to numerous Asian actors who want to make it big in Hollywood. Following a string of appearances on popular television series and movies, she gained fame after being cast in the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she portrayed Ling Woo. In the wake of a rapid rise in fame, the actress landed roles on big screens including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superlative performance in the role of Japanese crime lord O-Ren Ishii as the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill Volume 1. In the same time frame she was the main character in a few flops in the field like Rise: Blood Hunter. For animated films such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell as well as others, she voiced characters with prominent voices. Mia Mason's part on Cashmere Mafia, a small screen production, didn't bring about the positive results. An appearance in the critically acclaimed police drama Southland allowed her to regain her status as an established actress. Liu chooses her roles carefully to avoid being a stereotype in an industry that is highly competitive. Liu is also an accomplished artist who has not been restricted due to her ethnic background.
