Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a sixteen year old American who was born in Miami Florida. She is half English and half Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father is an Argentine who had Scottish as well as English ancestry. She is Spanish and has English roots. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's ex-married partners. They were initially of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor-Joy said the relocation was traumatic, and refused to study English as she wanted to be able to return to Argentina. Her school had to change to Northlands to Hill House. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's productions. At 16, she left the school to explore acting as a profession. From a young age Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to work as an actress. her dream came true when she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
